Brett Hinrichs

Pastor Brett was installed on August 13, 2017 and has loved serving the Decatur community ever since! Pastor and his wife, Krista, have a daughter, who is the joy of their life. In their free time, they like to play board games, enjoy God's creation, and chase around their two dogs, Penny and Pepper. ​

Ethan Hart

Vicar Ethan came to Mt. Calvary on July 9, 2023 from Concordia Seminary St. Louis to complete his vicarage studies (student teaching for pastors). When he's not working, Ethan enjoys cooking, hiking, as well as spending time with friends and his fiance, Rachel.

Shannon Lanier

Shannon joined our team in the spring of 2022. In many ways, Shannon is the "hub" of our team, coordinating schedules, publishing documents, and answering almost any question you may have. Shannon and her husband, Rich, have lived in Decatur many years and raised two grown daughters here.

-Preschool Director-
Cathy Kurecki

Cathy has served as our Preschool Director for many years. Not only does she handle the administration of the preschool, but teaches our students as well!  ​Cathy Kurecki is married and has one daughter and two sons. She attended Southern Illinois University where she earned her Bachelor's. She enjoys being outdoors, running, and spending time with her family.

Jessica Stock

Jessica joined our preschool staff at the start of the 2021 school year and has been enjoying teaching ever since! She loves seeing how the kids grow each year, both educationally and spiritually. Jes is married and has four school age children at home, so much of her time is spent enjoying family time and shuttling kids to sporting events and other school activities.
